This role supports the design, evaluation, and enhancement of the Army's infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
-Analyze and assess the engineering and design of the network infrastructure, command and control platforms, interoperability protocols, and sustainment activities.
-Provide strategic recommendations to improve system performance, policy alignment, and procedural consistency.
-Support the development of networks from strategic to tactical levels, enabling future information sharing among IAMD nodes across the U.S., Baltic Region, and NATO allies.
-Conduct joint capability-based assessments and system requirements reviews
Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
-Extensive and practical experience (5+ years) in Enterprise Network Architecture and Engineering, with a proven track record of success
-Expertise in network security frameworks, standards, and best practices (e.g., NIST, ISO, RMF, FMN, DODIN)
-Proficiency in enterprise network, datacenter and security technologies, tools, and platforms
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and provide innovative solutions
-Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
-Active U.S. Government Clearance at Secret level or higher
-Ability to sit for extended periods of time
-Ability to regularly lift at least 25 pounds
-Ability to commute to the designated onsite work locations as required.
