Position Summary:
We are looking for a Senior-level Custom Media Production Specialist that has experience assisting customers in determining the best and most viable data/product combinations to meet their remote data or data sharing needs and to provide that NGA GEOINT content on the necessary/best optical media type(s) (CD/DVD/Blu-ray or external hard drives) for customers and/or partners world-wide. These positions provide direct support to customers through the electronic transfer and delivery of Foundation GEOINT content on various media forms. They shall participate in the full life-cycle of each order from initial customer contact, through shipment and confirmation of delivery receipt.
The Custom Media Production Specialist will support a team in Arnold, Missouri.

Position Summary:

The Custom Media Production Specialist will support a team in Arnold, Missouri.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to NGA customers worldwide through the delivery of customized Foundation GEOINT content on various media forms (i.e. CD/DVD, Blu-ray, hard drive) and electronic transfer. • Provide electronic data transfer from NGA's NCL Imagery Libraries to optical media and external hard drives.
- Provide electronic data transfer from NGA's Gateway database, cloud services, and its own master external hard drives/RAID storage devices, with capabilities for various media outputs
- Maintain and update sources of NGA Foundation GEOINT data and imagery, staying abreast of new technologies and anticipating customer needs in response to real-world threats and issues.
- Improve media services processes by enhancing understanding of customers' GEOINT data requirements.
- Assist in providing data, facts, and information to ensure NGA service offerings align with customer needs.
- Maintain and update documentation related to Custom Media workflows (SOPs, CONOPs, BattleBook, etc)
- Design and deploy custom automation tools to facilitate rapid and secure data transfer, minimizing manual intervention and reducing turnaround times.
- Develop and implement automation strategies to streamline GEOINT data handling and distribution processes, enhancing efficiency and accuracy
- Maintain Legacy Python codebase, integrate codebase new security requirements and future Source dissemination solutions.
- Collaborate with GEOINT content teams to integrate automated quality checks, ensuring the highest standards of data integrity and reliability.
- Under the direction of STT leadership, develop innovative modernization efforts pertaining to all functions of dissemination of Foundation GEOINT including, but not limited to: Automation, Data Science & Model Creation, System & Hardware Engineering, Software Development, Prototype Development & Hardware Deployments, Business Analytics including Cost Benefit Analysis etc.
- Use advanced data analytics and machine learning algorithms to identify bottlenecks and optimize workflow efficiency.
- Conduct continuous process assessments to identify improvement opportunities, ensuring the GEOINT dissemination workflow remains agile and responsive to changing requirements.
- Provide crisis support surge capacity for Custom Media Services.
Required Qualifications:
- Requires TS/SCI Clearance with the ability to obtain a CI Poly
- 8+ years of relevant experience (A combination of years of experience & professional certifications/trainings can be used in conjunction with a degree)
- Demonstrated experience maintaining and sustaining Legacy Python codebase, integrating codebase with new security requirements and future Source dissemination solutions.
- Experience in acquiring, maintaining, replicating, disseminating, archiving, and troubleshooting GEOINT data.
- Experience with current DoD/IC/NGA products, image flow,
- Experience with conducting media transfers
- Knowledge of GEOINT products/ data and their application to include but not limited to: o Maps and Charts - e.g. Compressed ARC Digitized Raster Graphics (CADRG), Electronic Compressed Raster Graphic (ECRG), Print on Demand, US Geological Survey (USGS), and/or Digital Image City Map (DICM)
o Elevation data- e.g. Digital Terrain Elevation Data (DTED), Shuttle Radar Topographic Mission (SRTM), High Resolution Terrain Elevation (HRTE), Defense Gridded Elevation Data (DGED), and/or TanDEM-X
o Imagery products- e.g. Controlled Image Base (CIB), Commercial Orthorectified Imagery, and/or Digital Point Positioning Data Base (DPPDB)
o Vector data - e.g. Topographic Data Set (TDS), Multi-national GEOINT Co-Production, Foundation Feature Data, and/or Harborview
o Vertical Obstruction data sets. - Knowledge of the proper data types for use in GEOINT software and services (i.e. FalconView, Global Mapper, ArcGIS, ArcPRO, GDP, Raster Roam, GVS, Map of the World (MoW), GRiD) to ensure customers' data requests match the receiving tools.
- Familiarity with NGA's mission partners, military services, COCOMs, and Intelligence Community; and an understanding of how these groups use foundation al GEOINT in support of training and real-world scenarios.
Knowledge of satellite imagery systems (Commercial and National Technical Means) and related information libraries. - Demonstrated experience providing customer service support activities and cross-organizational collaboration.
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing process improvement. .
- Experience following, writing and maintaining Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs), Concepts of Operation (CONOPS), and other process documents
- Proficiency with MS Office and collaboration tools (versions 2019 and younger), Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, IC Connect, Cisco Jabber
- Knowledge of GEOINT products/ data and their application to include but not limited to: o Maps and Charts - e.g. Compressed ARC Digitized Raster Graphics (CADRG), Electronic Compressed Raster Graphic (ECRG), Print on Demand, US Geological Survey (USGS), and/or Digital Image City Map (DICM)
Desired Qualifications:
- Understanding of Custom Media Services, NSG Consolidated Library (NCL), NGA's Gateway, NGA/Source and the operations centers, service centers, and business processes of NGA.
- Knowledge of Custom Media Generation System (CMGS) and Custom Media NCL Services functions as they pertain to data dissemination processes.
- Experience in connecting web applications to databases, database administration and database systems (i.e. CMGS Website, HTML, Access, Excel, MoW, Oracle)
- Practical hands-on experience with UNIX operating systems, -- Redhat LINUX preferred
- Understanding NGA's mission partners, military services, COCOMs, and Intelligence Community.
