The Opportunity:

CACI has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed, Deputy Operations Manager. This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization, US EUCOM ECJ6 located OCONUS in Stuttgart, Germany. This position is required to travel OCONUS. The EUCOM Deputy Operations Manager will assist the EUCOM Operations Manager to coordinate and supervise all systems-related work in the EUCOM ECJ6. They will lead and coordinate all necessary actions with systems such as Audio Video (AV), computer systems architecture, and network architecture across all tier support levels. They will brief ECJ6 Division Chiefs on daily operational and project status and future operations recommendations in order to support mission requirements.

The Responsibilities:

The Deputy Operations Manager will work with J6 leadership and contractor work centers to coordinate integrated systems support for daily operations to include exercises and real-world operational missions. Share knowledge and operations experience with facility support-related personnel fostering a team environment while ensuring all facilities and logistics operations are understood, executed, and maintained. Manage J6 contract staff at all Tier levels.
Oversee and manage all IT source events and work orders that impact the EUCOM customer. Report outages, degradations, and HAZCON response, and coordinate necessary actions with service teams, equipment vendors, and external service providers; follow up until outage/incident/problem fixed. Provide weekly briefings based on operational status to the J66 leadership. Monitors and tracks identified events in each individual project and tracks the interdependencies of all schedules based on information provided by all project managers/service representatives to be addressed in weekly briefings. Produces management reports for personnel and contractual resources. Develops work breakdown structures and prepares charts, tables, graphs, and diagrams to assist in analyzing problems and making recommendations.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Currently hold an adjudicated Top Secret/SCI Clearance and be able to maintain
  • BA/BS + 7 years recent specialized or AA/AS + 9 years recent specialized or a major cert + 9 years recent specialized or 13 years of recent specialized experience
  • IAT 8570 Level II IAT - Security+ (or greater) and technical computing environment certification
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Exceptional analysis and decision-making skills
  • Conflict Management skills and experience
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize work efforts and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills with experience supporting simultaneous activities and tasks
  • Management/Engineering experience with the following systems are highly desired
  • ServiceNow, Project Management, C2/C4, AV, Network, Computer Systems, VTC, etc.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$82,700 - 173,900 USD
