Mid. Electrical Engineer (Electrical Power Infrastructure)
Description:
- Supports defense analytical requirements with enhanced scientific/engineering research , capabi lit y / limitation analysis, reverse engineering analysis / characterizations, facility and vulnerability assessments . Analysis and production include, but is not limit ed to , complex foreign electronic systems, subsystems, facilities and / or equipment and can emphas i ze one or more area(s) pertaining to electric power, microelectronics , electronic hardware , circuits, sensors, guidance and contro l , signals, electromagnetic, electro-optical (EO) / infrared (IR) and/ or similar areas associated with current and projected electronic systems and/ or subsystems. T hi s includes , but not limited to, electrical engineering and sub-discipl in es of computer, electronic, optical , and power engineering.
- Professional or academic course work relat e d to the electric power industry , to include but not limited to power generation and distribution. Development and expansion of renewable and nuclear energy .
- Processes to maintain operations dur in g normal per i ods , natural disasters, and emergencies resulting from kinetic and non-kinetic attacks .
- Work related experience, and/or similarly relevant academic experience at electric power faci liti es.
- Possess a bachelor 's degree in electrical engineering.
- Research, analyze, and evaluate classified and open-source intelligence; identify intelligence gaps and s ubmit collection requirements.
- Make d eta iled , all-source assessments and prepare quality intelligence products that adhere to IC analytic tradecraft stan dard s on complex e l ectric power faci liti es and networks.
- Assess foreign capabilities, deficiencies, and vu l nerab il it i es of e le ctric power facilities to ascertain how they impact military capabilities.
- Maintain , monitor and assure the quality of d atabases on facilities , installations, and networks.
- Perform vu ln erability assessments of petroleum a nd national gas facilities.
- Collaborate with I C colleagues a nd foreign partners to produce analytic products utilizes a ll avai l able resources and expertise.
- Impro ve reporting through elevating the quality of requirements s ubm itted and effective co llabo rat i on within the IC.
- Experience in using the following tools:

- Message traffic tools
- MARS
- ArcPro
- Geospatial data h o ldin gs tools
Security Clearance:
- Security clearance required TS/SCI with CI POLY or the ability to obtain CI POLY.
Job Requirements
Desired experiences:
- At least 8 years of experience conducting analysis relevant to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
Desired education:
- Bachelor's degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
- An additional 4 years of experience in the specific labor category, for a total of 12 years of experience in the specific labor category, may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
