Microsoft Systems Administrator – Secret Clearance

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Certified Microsoft Systems Administrator with extensive experience managing distributed infrastructures and data center operations across Windows platforms. This role is critical to maintaining high service availability and optimizing IT performance in a secure, mission-driven environment.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, configuring, installing, and maintaining core IT infrastructure components including servers, endpoints, printers, and virtual environments. You’ll also manage Windows imaging, patching, backups, security configurations, and network settings across on-prem and cloud environments (Azure, Office 365 GCC High/DoD).
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and maintain Windows-based infrastructure, including Active Directory, DNS, Exchange, SharePoint, and Teams.
Build and deploy Windows images for laptops and virtual machines (Azure and hardware-based).
Manage endpoint devices, including mobile platforms, using Microsoft InTune MDM.
Apply DISA STIGs and maintain compliance with DoD cybersecurity standards.
Perform patch management, data backup, and system security updates.
Support Office 365 and Azure services in GCC High or DoD environments.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues across client, server, and network layers.
Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledgebase articles.
Support RMF package creation and testing.
Required Qualifications:
Clearance: Active Secret Clearance based on SSBI
Certifications:
IAT Level II (DoDD 8140.01) – CompTIA Security+ preferred
Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Azure, or Office 365 Administration certification
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Experience:
10+ years in cross-platform systems administration
7+ years in endpoint troubleshooting (client/mobile)
5+ years in Microsoft Server technologies
3+ years supporting Office 365 in GCC High/DoD
3+ years supporting Azure in GCC High/DoD
1+ year supporting Microsoft InTune MDM
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior military experience (Uniformed, GS, or Contractor)
Experience working in multicultural environments
Familiarity with:
Active Directory, DNS, VLANs, Hyper-V
Windows 10 and Server 2019+
Office 365 Suite, Commvault, McAfee MVision/HBSS, BitLocker, Cisco AnyConnect
Tenable.io or ACAS
VoIP/SIP SBC configuration
Apple iPhone support
GPO management and patching via InTune
Strong troubleshooting skills across migrations, connectivity, and security
Knowledge of DoD enterprise network governance and RMF processes
Compensation:
$45/hr to $65/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
