Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. Responsibilities:
- Designs the storage concepts/processes related to resource allocation management for enterprise IT infrastructure, including VDI applications, server environments, storage area networks, desktop environments, and user endpoints connected to the network
- Upgrades software, applies patches, and ensures physical security of enterprise storage and data
- Designs and implements solutions for data storage and maintenance
- Configures, allocates , provisions, and manages storage resources
- Designs disaster recovery plans and backup/archive procedures, including continuity of operations and disaster recovery planning and exercises
- Implements storage solutions supporting networks that interface with other coalition networks that operate a VDI environment
- Creates reports and metrics for performance/data usage using office automation applications
- Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high-impact assignments
- Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments
- May supervise others
Qualifications:
Required:
- Currently hold an adjudicated Top Secret/SCI Clearance with the ability to maintain it
- BA/BS + 8 -12
- Certification - 8140 - Cloud+ or SSCP or Security+ or GSEC
- Possesses mastery of enterprise IT infrastructure storage concepts and processes, with particular emphasis on VDI applications, server environments, and Storage Area Networks.
- Possesses comprehensive knowledge of storage resource allocation management, including design and implementation of sophisticated data storage and maintenance solutions.
- Exhibits strategic expertise in configuring, allocating , and provisioning storage resources across complex network environments, including those interfacing with coalition networks operating VDI.
- Excels in designing and implementing disaster recovery plans, backup procedures, and continuity of operations strategies for critical data systems.
- Commands proficiency in upgrading software, applying patches, and ensuring physical security of enterprise storage assets.
- Displays advanced analytical skills in creating performance and data usage reports using office automation applications.
- Has served as a technical expert across multiple high-impact projects, with the ability to supervise and guide team members in complex storage management tasks.
