Major Duties:
The candidate will work on a team of auditors responsible who are knowledgeable in audit procedures and processes, making decisions regarding whether audit evidence, findings, and recommendations meet OIA's expectations of audit standards. The candidate will work directly with those individuals being audited, and other stakeholders involved in making recommendations on how best to evolve or improve policy, procedures, and processes surrounding the matters being audited. The candidate is expected to understand audit process and focus on risk areas pertinent to the matters being audited. Other primary major duties include:

A. Degree: auditing; or a degree in a related field such as business administration, finance, public administration or accounting.
OR
B. Combination of education and experience: at least 4 years of experience in Performance Auditing, or an equivalent combination of performance auditing experience, college-level education, and training that provided professional auditing knowledge. The applicant's background must also include one of the following:
• A certificate as a Certified Internal Auditor or a Certified Public Accountant, obtained through written examination; or
• Completion of the requirements for a degree that included substantial course work in auditing or accounting, e.g., 15 semester hours.
Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the above requirements provided you can show foreign education is comparable to that received in an accredited educational institution in the United States.
Specialized Experience (SE):
