CeLeen, an operating firm of Command Holdings, is seeking a Linux System Administrator/Network Engineer to support a contract within the Department of Energy. This position would support a critical science and engineering computing environments. The individual will join a fast-paced, dynamic, agile team environment passionate about the delivery of computational engineering services and infrastructure. The ideal candidate is well rounded, having experience with modern systems network design, planning, and architecture, and keeping a pulse on system administration, scripting, and software management for users daily. We are looking for a self-motivated, driven, problem solver to join our team.

Duties and Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Design and develop solutions to complex applications problems, system administration issues, or network concerns.
- Perform systems management and integration functions.
- Managing and implementing governmental security protocols and measures.
- Ensuring the design, implementation, and maintenance of computer networks to ensure seamless communication and data transfer.
- Managing user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
- Creating, running and managing Ansible playbooks.
- Ability to analyze and evaluate networks, identify issues, and provide solutions to ensure networks are operating efficiently.
- Communicating technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Work Environment:
- Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone and printers) and /or occasional Loud noise (airfield, large equipment).
- Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.
Physical Demands:
- While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to sit, stand, talk, and hear.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in STEM related field plus minimum 3 years of Linux server experience.
- Must have experience in LINUX Systems Administration.
- Experience running RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) and Ubuntu OS, including installation, configuration, patching and troubleshooting.
- Experience in network automation and virtualization, designing, implementing, and maintaining local and wide area networks.
- Knowledge of networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF).
- In-depth understanding and practical knowledge of networking systems such as LAN, firewalls, and routers.
- Experience with creating, running and managing Ansible playbooks.
- Experience in another IT field, such as Storage, Networking, Database or Cyber.
- Ability to design, implement and troubleshoot security infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of automation tools, and system monitoring tools.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE-Q Clearance.
- Strong customer service, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to pass a federal background investigation including fingerprinting.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Professional proficiency in English is required.

Preferred Qualifications
- Current, active DOE-Q or L Clearance or Active DOD Secret or Top Secret Clearance.
- Master's Degree.
- Experience with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Advanced knowledge of network security practices and protocols.
- Professional certifications such as CCNP, Comp TIA Security +, CompTIA Network+, or Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE).
- Proficiency in using network monitoring tools and performance management solutions.
- Knowledge of coding languages such as Python, Perl, or Bash.
- Experience with Software-Defined Networking (SDN) and network virtualization technologies.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
