We are seeking an Acquisitions Logistician to provide expert product assistance to Program Managers (PM) and Product Support Managers (PSM) for Air Force systems. This senior role will lead total life cycle systems management activities, direct sustainment teams through advanced data analysis, acquisition management, and strategic logistics support for critical assets. The position requires deep expertise in DoD acquisition logistics, post-production support planning, and the ability to develop and implement comprehensive logistics strategies across complex defense programs. An active Secret clearance is required for this position.

Responsibilities include:
- Support all phases of acquisition lifecycle: Materiel Solution Analysis, Technology Maturation and Risk Reduction, EMD, Production and Deployment, and Operations and Support
- Assist in developing and implementing comprehensive, affordable systems support strategies
- Coordinate integrated logistics support (ILS) implementation and monitor compliance with milestones and performance criteria
- Support life cycle management activities including supply, maintenance, procurement, and quality assurance integration
- Assist with transportation plan development and defense transportation system processes
- Apply knowledge of Air Force's 12 product support elements in daily operations
- Analyze deficiencies, identify conflicting priorities, and provide recommendations for schedule risk assessments
- Support material solution analyses, design reviews, and documentation development
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/ Technical Experience Requirements:
- Security Clearance: Secret clearance required
- Must be a US Citizen
- Experience Level: Journeyman-level experience (typically 5-10 years in acquisition logistics)
- DoD Experience: Minimum 5 years of DoD experience required
- Knowledge Areas: Working knowledge of logistics policy including Title 10 USC Section 2466, contractual processes, and AF systems
- Technical Understanding: Comprehensive knowledge of ILS planning, development, and execution principles
Desired Qualifications:
- DAWIA Level II/III certification in Life Cycle Logistics or Certified Professional Logistician (CPL)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent project management certification
- Experience with specific Air Force weapon systems (F-35, F-22, KC-46, etc.)
- Knowledge of DoD 5000 series acquisition regulations and Performance Based Logistics (PBL) contracts
- Proficiency with logistics information systems, ERP systems, and cost analysis tools (USCM, SEER, PRICE)
- Previous Program Management Office (PMO) experience supporting milestone reviews
- Strong briefing and presentation skills for senior leadership audiences
- Experience with depot-level maintenance operations and Total Ownership Cost (TOC) analysis
- Background in Foreign Military Sales (FMS) or international program support
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and interface with multiple stakeholders
Education Requirements:
- Advanced Degree (MA/MS) + 12 years experience in technical/professional discipline (5 years DoD) OR BA/BS degree + 15 years experience in technical/professional discipline (5 years DoD)
