SMX is seeking a motivated and qualified candidate to perform Site Security Manager (SSM) / Engineer (ENG) services at various locations within the INDOPACOM AOR and other locations as required by the LSF to support construction of SCIFs and secure areas. To be successful, the candidate must be highly motivated, self-starter, work well independently and with multiple-stakeholders in a fluid, high OPTEMPO environment.

This position requires full-time on-site work at Sembawang, Singapore.

This position requires a DoD TS/SCI which requires US citizenship for work on DoD contracts.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • The SSM is considered a key position under. The SSM/ENG will provide constant coordination, expert recommendations, advice, and input during all phases of the project: Planning, Design, Initiation, Setup, and Accreditation to the US Navy Facilities (NAVFAC) command in Singapore and NAVFAC Fart-East (Japan), in coordination with the primary Site Security Manager (SSM).
  • The SSM/ENG will provide engineering focused expertise to the US government throughout the construction process and ensure that all design reviews and final plans are done in accordance with the ICD-705, TEMPEST 1/13, and other DoD/IC Directives and Guidelines to ensure a final accreditation at construction completion.
  • The SSM/ENG will assist the primary SSM in preparation of the Fixed Facility Checklist and TEMPEST Addendum as required for final facility accreditation.
  • CONUS and OCONUS travel may be required.

Required Skills & Experience
  • Must have a DoD Top Secret clearance and eligible for SCI access.
  • The SSM/ENG shall have at least four (4) years of construction engineering experience, specifically related to US military construction overseas, secure areas and SCIF construction overseas, and coordinating with relevant US DoD engineering activities overseas (eg. NAVFAC, US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), etc...), Technical Surveillance Countermeasures, Physical Security, or a combination of these areas
  • The SSM/ENG shall have at least four (4) years of direct experience working on ICD-705 construction projects.
  • Direct experience means working at the project location as a CST, SSM, or SME.
  • The SSM/ENG shall have at least two (2) years in a leadership/management role on an ICD-705 Construction Security project(s). Leadership/Management means SSM or CST- Lead.
  • The SSM/ENG shall demonstrate familiarity and knowledge of the sixteen (16) standard divisions of construction and must have knowledge of technical listening devices commonly used by foreign intelligence services by citing on the SSM resume and providing certificates of training.
  • The SSM/ENG shall hold a valid certificate for the successful completion of a Twenty (20) Hour or greater Site Security Manager (SSM) Training Course taken within the last 5 years.
  • Must hold a valid certificate for the successful completion of a Forty (40) Hour or greater CST Training Course taken within the last 5 years.

The proposed salary for this position is:

$108,900 - $181,500 USD
