Ring0 Technologies (“Ring Zero”) is hiring a CNO Developer/ Engineer (Windows/Linux) capable of developing CNO cyber capabilities and exploitation tools at the speed of need. The candidate will be responsible for researching, developing, coding, architecting, and testing CNO cyber capabilities/tools and techniques within an existing customer environment and without assistance from an AI Coding Assistant (e.g., Github Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.), and without the use of AI Developer Tools (e.g., Tabnine, Mutabale, CodeWhisperer, Replit Ghostwriter, etc). Successful candidates for this role must have critical thinking skills and problem-solving skills, be creative, curious, resourceful, and have a passion for conveying a wide range of information through research leading to deeper insights. The candidate may work independently or participate in project-wide reviews of requirements, system architecture, and detailed design documents. A CNO Developer/ Engineer must be able to collaborate well with a strong lean-forward attitude to shift knowledge left, deliver well, and produce quality results.

Responsibilities:
Proficient in Linux and Windows kernel development, with deep knowledge of Windows internals.
Strong programming skills in Python and C, including hands-on experience debugging C applications using tools such as GDB and PyDB.
Expertise in reverse engineering, malware analysis, and systems exploitation, including vulnerability discovery and exploit development.
In-depth understanding of Windows low-level systems programming, including familiarity with relevant APIs and subsystems.
Experience with cyber-focused target development and research, encompassing technical analysis, military intelligence, DNI, SIGINT, or similar disciplines.
Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies and modern software development practices.
Applied experience with network analysis tools and techniques, as well as relevant software applications and databases used in target development.
Solid understanding of computer networking and telecommunications architecture, including the OSI model, TCP/IP, IPv6, routing concepts, subnetting, and network mapping.
Knowledge of common cyber threat actor Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) and target templating.
Experience in Cyber-focused TDNA/DNEA (Target Development and Network Exploitation Analysis) operations.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 8+ years of relevant experience.
Onsite position
6+ years of CNO capability development experience.
Expertise in reverse engineering, static and behavioral analysis of software, and debugging.
Deep knowledge of Windows operating system internals.
Familiarity with assembly and scripting languages is a significant plus.
Collaborate with teams and communicate progress with leadership and customers.
Lead and manage teams, ensuring software standards are met and maintained.
Work effectively under pressure and maintain strong analytical and critical thinking skill
Strong problem-solving abilities and flexibility in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
