Raytheon - Advance Product Solutions (APS) is seeking a highly motivated Senior Program Management (PM) to support program activity within the Electro-Optic Infrared Solutions (EOIR) Sub-Strategic Business Unit (SSBU).

This position will be responsible for leading implementation, production, and delivery of EO/IR Sensor Systems. The selected candidate will interface with the Raytheon - Land & Air Defense Systems (LADS) Strategic Business Unit (SBU) acting as a Product Team Leader and other groups on behalf of the program.

The scope of this effort includes product implementation, test, fielding, training, and sustainment with multiple Raytheon SBUs, international partners, and governments representing a dynamic and challenging opportunity.

What You Will Do
  • Provide leadership, direction, and implementation management working with US and international teams through all phases of the program (implementation, test, delivery, training, and sustainment)
  • Develop partnerships with cross functional teams (Engineering, EX/IM, Contracts, Finance, Operations & Supply Chain, and Quality, etc)
  • Execute daily PM cadence (battle rhythm) such as risk review boards, schedule performance management, customer reviews, program management reviews (PMRs), staffing reviews, and decision reviews to achieve contract commitments
  • Meet contractual commitments including the financial, quality, cost efficiency, technical and schedule performance using the approved business model and management tools including Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Integrated Product Development System (IPDS), etc
  • Display strong communication, influence management, and presentation skills, and comfortably interact with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels of leadership
  • Set program priorities, resolve conflicts and barriers, implement gates and major reviews with the customer, suppliers, and Raytheon leadership
  • Prepare and manage all required product lifecycle artifacts and reviews
  • Support contract proposal process to include bidding, gating, negotiation thru and start-up efforts
  • Manage cost, schedule, operational security and customer interface activities
  • Master applicable Export/Import regulations as required
  • Travel, up to 25%, to participate in domestic and international business engagements


Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and 10 years of relevant experience (in one or more of the following areas: program/project management, leadership operations/production, integrated product team lead, etc)
  • E xperience leading cross-functional teams
  • Experience managing cost, schedule, and technical performance for programs with use of program management tools such as Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Integrated Master Plan (IMP), Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), Risk and Opportunity M anagement or similar business processes
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite resources
  • An a ctive and transferable Secret level U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required , as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance


Qualifications We Prefer
  • Experience working international programs
  • Experience supporting development, production, and/or sustainment programs, preferably in the aerospace and defense industry.
  • Working knowledge of contract formation, execution, and management
  • Program Management Level 5 Certification
  • Effective interpersonal skills building team and customer relationships
  • Strong communication, dedicated work ethic, a willingness to learn on the job, and a commitment to being an active participant in our team and customer focused culture

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
