DNC is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead a team in support of the Automated Surface Observing System (ASOS) Service Life Extension Program (SLEP). This key role provides programmatic leadership, technical oversight and lifecycle management in close partnership with Government stakeholders to achieve long-term strategic objectives. This position is contingent upon final contract award.

Job Requirements:

• Project oversight & reporting, serving as the accountable party for large-scale ASOS projects, report status and deliverables, develop and implement programmatic strategies for operational improvements and ensure execution of project, deliverables and program management tasks.
• Leadership & coordination by assisting the Government to define scope, objects and execution strategy for projects, provide industry insight to the government to align efforts with ASOS Tri-Agency modernization strategy
• Resource & Budget Management by assisting in resource allocations, ensuring necessary support is available, track financials ensuring cost-efficiencies and quality service
• Technical Oversight & Risk Mitigation ensuring hardware/software compatibility with existing infrastructure and planned upgrades; risk assessment including deployment delays and integration challenges, implementing mitigation strategies and support compliance with data security, system reliability, and modernization standards
• Execution & Performance Evaluation assisting the government with oversight of system integration testing; system acceptance testing and operational test and evaluation for projects; define and track KPIs and benchmarks for success and track and analyze performance metrics and accomplishments

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree Communications or Electronics Engineering or closely related field, and 15 years' experience in program management
• Demonstrated experience managing federal programs and technical teams
• Systems engineering background
• Experience with hardware and software engineering principles
• Position requires NOAA background check (Public Trust)
