Insight Global is actively hiring for a Senior Systems Requirements Engineer to lead the development, management, and validation of complex system requirements for mission-critical programs supporting our DoD Programs in Huntsville, AL. The ideal candidate will have deep experience using IBM DOORS for requirements traceability and Cameo Systems Modeler for model-based systems engineering (MBSE).
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and decomposition of system-level requirements into functional and non-functional specifications.
Manage end-to-end requirements lifecycle using IBM DOORS, ensuring traceability, compliance, and verification.
Develop and maintain SysML models in Cameo Systems Modeler to support architecture definition and system design.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including systems architects, software engineers, and test engineers to ensure alignment of requirements with design and implementation.
Conduct requirements reviews, gap analyses, and impact assessments for system changes.
Support integration, verification, and validation (IV&V) activities to ensure system performance meets stakeholder expectations.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- Active Secret Clearance
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 10+ years of experience in systems engineering with a focus on requirements development and management.
Proficiency in IBM DOORS and Cameo Systems Modeler (or MagicDraw).
Strong understanding of SysML, MBSE principles, and systems lifecycle processes (INCOSE, ISO/IEC 15288).
Experience working in Agile or hybrid development environments.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Insight Global expects to pay 145K - 185K for this role. Candidates exact salary may vary based on a number of factors including level of expertise, clearance level, and education.
