D NC is seeking an experienced Logistics Engineer in support of NOAA NWS ASOS SLEP program. This position plays a critical role in supporting the deployment and modernization of surface observation systems across the US for aviation and meteorological operations. This position is contingent upon final contract award.

This position plays a critical role in supporting the deployment and modernization of surface observation systems across the US for aviation and meteorological operations. Job Requirements:
- Hands-on engineering support from production through deployment
- Provide engineering services for multiple ASOS projects ensuring alignment with modernization efforts
- Assist the government in creation and documentation of Requests for Change for the ASOS baseline based on established requirements
- Assist the government in Configuration Management for engineering drawing changes, ensuring accuracy in project documentation.
- Update Site Technical Manual Chapters for various ASOS component integrations
- Compile, review, and deliver comprehensive technical data packages, incorporating vendor data.
- Collaboration with engineering, program team members, technical staff and government stakeholders
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree Systems Engineering or similar field
- Position requires 5-10 years of experience
- Position requires NOAA background check (Public Trust)
