Position Overview: The ACC Readiness Data Analyst will provide expert operations and technical support for the management of combat capability and resource readiness assessment programs. Utilizing dedicated tools such as DRRS (Deployment Readiness Reporting System) and DCAPES (Deliberate and Crisis Action Planning and Execution Segments), the Analyst will ensure accurate, effective, and timely status reporting of command operational readiness. This role involves leadership, coordination, and guidance to support the ACC’s readiness objectives and reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Support:
Provide operations and technical expertise in managing the command’s combat capability readiness and resource readiness assessment programs.
Utilize DRRS and DCAPES to monitor and report on ACC UTCs (Unit Type Codes) and ensure compliance with Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff (CJCS)-directed operational readiness reporting.
Readiness Reporting:
Conduct meetings with ACC staff, Directorates, NAFs (Numbered Air Forces), and Wings to ensure readiness reporting requirements are met.
Orchestrate and assist with all readiness reporting, including the retrieval and analysis of subordinate units' DRRS and DCAPES UTC assessment reports.
Coordination and Compliance:
Coordinate with the HAF (Headquarters Air Force) readiness office regarding AF readiness reporting policy.
Review DRRS and UTC reporting for timeliness, accuracy, and compliance with AF readiness reporting directives and instructions (AFIs 10-201 and 10-401).
Briefings and Documentation:
Prepare and present readiness briefings for ACC and HAF Senior Leaders using DRRS, Oracle Business Intelligence Tool, and Excel.
Assist with coordination and administration of ACC DOC Statements, including reviewing drafts and providing guidance to applicable FAMs (Functional Area Managers).
Technical Assistance:
Provide technical support and troubleshoot errors within the DRRS database.
Offer subject matter expert guidance and readiness reporting assistance to all ACC units worldwide on complex technical issues.
Qualifications:
Education: Associate degree required.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience working with DRRS and UTC assessment systems.
Minimum of 2 years of experience using directives governing Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) Readiness Reporting, including DRRS and the AF readiness reporting system.
Minimum of 2 years of experience using automated readiness reporting tools (e.g., DRSS/DCAPES).
Minimum of 2 years of experience reviewing draft DOC Statements and providing detailed, in-depth guidance to ACC FAMs.
Clearance: Secret Security Clearance required.
Skills:
