Columbia, MD (On-Site/Office)
Description:
We support the US Navy and Missile Defense Agency (MDA) by performing trade studies, design prototyping, and analysis of radars, RF sensors, seeker systems, electronic warfare systems, and weapon systems. We are seeking a junior radar systems modeling engineer to support the development and execution of radar and/or RF seeker simulations, add new capabilities to existing simulations, and deliver the simulations to both support internal analysis and as inclusion in deliverable simulations to our government customers and end-users. The engineer will be responsible for understanding customer requirements, demonstrating the capability to customers and stakeholders, and potentially leading a team of engineers and software developers to design and develop these simulation solutions. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with experienced engineers and develop expertise in radar systems, electromagnetic modeling, and advanced signal processing.
Location: Colombia, MD
Pay Rate: ($90/hr.-$100/hr. W2)
This is a contract-to-hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a W2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. For our W2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
