The Opportunity:
Join our Agile team as a Business Systems Analyst role, responsible for providing customer and application support across various efforts for the Department of Navy (DoN). In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and Government customers to design, build, and deliver innovative features while supporting various modernization efforts. You will identify opportunities for Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications, data analysis, software development, and audit compliance. You will define and implement project deliverables through all aspects of the software development life cycle. We seek a motivated, responsive, and proactive Analyst committed to delivering critical software solutions to support the mission of our Navy customer. Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. Responsibilities:
- Research AI, data structures, and algorithms, utilizing various tools, technologies, methodologies, and data analysis to improve existing AI models and pioneer innovative solutions.
- Stay current with the latest developments in AI (Machine Learning (ML), Large Language Models (LLM), Generative AI (GenAI), etc.) while ensuring compliance with ethical AI practices and data privacy regulations. Support various operational areas within the program including agile software development, testing, operational support, and training. Provide expertise in the PPBE to support application functionality and recommend features to better support and automate the PPBE processes. Support collaboration between the application technical team, government sponsors, and application end user community in coordinating software releases and major operational exercises. Collect, process, and analyze data sets from various sources using statistical tools and techniques to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business decision-making to create visual representations (charts, graphs, dashboards) of findings. Coordinate with stakeholders to adhere to financial and IT audit standards of operations and systems. Evaluate internal control systems and identify potential weaknesses or process improvements. Assist in developing and maintaining audit documentation and plans to comply with policies and procedures. This is a contingent position, dependent upon funding/customer approval.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Must have experience with data analytics using tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or equivalent.
- Must be experienced in interfacing directly with government customers. Must demonstrate ability to provide professional and timely customer support in a fast-paced environment.
- Must possess strong written and verbal communication, analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with DoD Financial processes. Active or Interim Secret Clearance. Candidates must be located in the Washington, DC metropolitan area with the ability to work onsite daily. This position requires consistent, in-person presence with the Customer at the Pentagon. Hybrid remote may be an option dependent on contract needs.
