DNC is seeking an experienced Logistician who will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth coordination of resources, materials, and operational support for the ACU/DCP Upgrade Project. Their responsibilities would cover supply chain management, inventory tracking, procurement, transportation logistics, and compliance to keep project execution efficient and aligned with federal regulations. This ensures comprehensive oversight of ASOS deployment, logistics, inventory tracking, and operational support, keeping everything running efficiently. This position is contingent upon final contract award.

This ensures comprehensive oversight of ASOS deployment, logistics, inventory tracking, and operational support, keeping everything running efficiently. This position is contingent upon final contract award.
Job Requirements:
- Deployment Monitoring & Forecasting, assist the government in the monitoring & reporting on deployment statuses of ongoing ASOS projects, ensuring alignment with milestones; Track stock numbers and burn rates, providing visibility into material consumption; Perform deployment forecasting to minimize supply chain disruptions and optimize installation timelines; and assist the government PM in the Execution of the Deployment Management Process, maintaining communication with regional offices and forecasting teams to ensure full system arrival and schedule install dates.
- Supply Chain & Inventory Management, oversee inventory tracking, managing stock levels for ASOS components and hardware; create Due-ins for incoming ASOS shipments to maintain logistical flow; and perform stock item changes and modify inventory records as needed.
- Resource Coordination & Distribution, ensuring timely procurement, warehousing, and transport of critical ASOS equipment; support installation teams by coordinating resources for project execution.
- Operational Support & Compliance providing collected field data to the maintenance team, ensuring accurate maintenance notifications; and that procurement and expenditure processes comply with federal regulations; and facilitate logistics support for formal meetings, including A/V assistance and resource allocation.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree System Engineering or similar field
- Position requires a minimum of 15 years of experience
- Position requires a NOAA background check (Public Trust)
