Summary
We are seeking a highly adaptable and experienced Scrum Master to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in Agile environments, an active Top Secret clearance, and a Bachelor's degree. This role requires a strong understanding of Agile principles, excellent facilitation skills, and the ability to tailor Agile practices to meet the needs of diverse teams and mission requirements.
Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
Guide and coach teams on Agile practices, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Remove impediments and foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
Work closely with Product Owners to manage backlogs and ensure clear communication of priorities.
Adapt Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.) to fit team and project needs.
Track and report on team performance metrics and sprint progress.
Promote continuous improvement and support change management initiatives.
Ensure compliance with security protocols and government standards.
Qualification
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile facilitator.
Active Top Secret clearance required.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Required Skills/Technologies
Proven experience working in Agile environments, with flexibility to adapt practices as needed.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills.
Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM) preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting federal or defense-related projects.
Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar.
Background in coaching Agile transformations or scaling Agile practices.
