Job Description:
This position is a mid-level multidisciplinary security position requiring a qualified and highly motivated Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) to support Collateral, SCI and SAP-SAR programs. In the CPSO role, this person will be responsible for all facets of security for assigned programs and will serve as a key member of the Kudu Dynamics Program Security Team. The CPSO will work closely with Engineers, Security Management Staff and the Security and IT/IA team on all aspects of support to program, physical and information security.
In the Assistant Facility Security Officer (AFSO) will support Kudu's Corporate FSOs and the enterprise Facility Clearance along with multiple special access programs. This position is responsible for supporting compliance with Security and Insider Threat Programs under the 32 CFR Part 117, National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), including training, policies, and procedures to ensure security compliance for Kudu Dynamics personnel and facilities. You will support the company's interface with the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA), as well as acting as a key partner to multiple internal and external clients and stakeholders. The FSO will implement, direct, administer, and develop the industrial security policy and procedures for assigned programs that have contractually imposed security requirements in excess of normal National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) requirements.

Pay Range: $160,000 - $180,000 per year

Required Qualifications:
- A U.S. citizen with an active Top Secret security clearance and SCI eligibility.
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (or equivalent work experience).
- Possess working knowledge of the NISPOM and 32 Code of Federal Regulation Part 117, as well as security requirements outlined in DoD Manuals 5205.07 Volumes 1-4.
- Possess strong oral and written communications skills.
- Acceptance to potentially undergo life-style polygraph
- Completion of FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the onboarding of new Kudites to include badging and facility access
- Perform program security administrative tasks and duties (i.e., filing, updating logs/lists, and ordering supplies).
- Coordinate with internal and external customers.
- Maintain personnel security records for Collateral/SAP-SAR/SCI related programs, to include the use of DISS, NISS, and JADE.
- Perform initial access eligibility determinations and create PSQs, PARs, and SCI nominations.
- Maintain and conduct security briefings/debriefings, annual security education and training,
- Process incoming and outgoing classified visit certifications.
- Conduct internal self-inspections and assist with Staff Assistance Visits and Customer Security inspections.
- Maintain classified material accountability records to include inventory lists, receipt and transmittal records, and final disposition documentation.
- Maintain working knowledge in the preparation and maintenance of prime and subcontract DD254s.
- Ensure all classified materials are marked and controlled in accordance with contractual requirements.
- Review operational requirements and system specification documents to ensure applicable security requirements are addressed and incorporated into security processes.
- Interpret and implement security classification guidance.
- Assist in the development of Program Protection Plans (P2P) strategies and implementation.
- Assist with the investigation and documentation of security violations/incidents, providing recommendations for corrective actions to program personnel and management.
- Develop and maintain the program Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs)
- Attend, support and participate in program meetings, staff meetings, teleconferences, and more.
- Develop and conduct formal, initial, and recurring security education and prepare training materials/events.
- Maintain the corporate program access control system.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of program Fixed Facility Checklists
- Maintains proficiency in all NISPOM procedures as well as physical and FOCI security policies and practices
- Ability to work early, extended, and flexible hours, when required
- Respond to alarms during and after regular working hours
- Respond to walk-in customers and perform ad hoc security services as required.
- Assist with FCL documentation and submissions for Kudu Facilities
- Escorting uncleared personnel.
- Responsible for classified mail pickup.
- Other duties as assigned or required.
