ASRC Agile Decision Sciences is a premier provider of systems engineering, software engineering, system integration and project management services for real-time, mission-critical defense systems. We are seeking a highly motivated Cloud Operations Engineer to support the development and sustainment of the U.S. Navy Ship Self-Defense System in Moorestown, NJ.

We are seeking a highly motivated Cloud Operations Engineer to support the development and sustainment of the U.S. Navy Ship Self-Defense System in Moorestown, NJ.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and support containerized environments using Podman, Docker, and Docker Compose
- Deploy, monitor, and scale applications on Kubernetes clusters
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable and repeatable deployments
- Work with development, security, and product teams to plan, deploy, and maintain services
- Maintain onsite virtualization environment
- Document operational procedures and create clear runbooks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher (in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field) or equivalent related work experience
- This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a government secret clearance, U.S. Citizenship is required
- This position requires the successful applicant to obtain and maintain the required security clearance or other authorization(s) within the necessary timeframe required by applicable contract(s)
- 2-4 years' experience in Cloud Ops, Site Reliability Engineering, or DevOps
- Hands-on experience with Podman, Docker, and Docker Compose in production environments
- Solid experience deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters
- Proficient with scripting languages (Bash, Python)
- Experience with version control tools (git)
- Experience with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus and Grafana)
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and IAM in cloud environments
- Strong background in containerization, orchestration, and cloud-native technologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to articulate technical issues clearly to both engineers and non-engineers
- Participate in team planning meetings, and stakeholder updates
Preferred Qualifications:
- Secret Security Clearance
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
- Familiarity with Podman in rootless environments
- Experience with operating IL5/IL6 compliance environments
- Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Prior experience in high-availability or regulated environments (e.g., HIPAA, SOC2)
