Responsibilities
- Content Development:
- Research, develop, design, and maintain clear and effective policies, procedures, and technical documentation to convey complex information.
- Review and update existing documentation to ensure alignment with current policies, procedures, and contract requirements.
- Ensure all content is accurate, consistent, and compliant with Department of Defense (DoD) standards.
- Folder Structure Management:
- Maintain and enhance the organization of internal file systems and documentation repositories.
- Restructure folder hierarchies to promote intuitive navigation, support version control, and improve accessibility for team members and stakeholders.
- Collaboration and Coordination:
- Create clear and visually compelling PowerPoint presentations to communicate contract objectives, progress updates, and key information to customers.
- Support internal and external communications to foster transparency and strengthen customer relationships.
- Task Tracking and Coordination:
- Track internal and customer-assigned tasks across teams to maintain visibility and accountability.
- Ensure responsibilities are clearly defined, tasks are appropriately assigned, and relevant stakeholders are notified upon completion.
- Technical Expertise:
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of DoD-specific requirements, ensuring all communications align with applicable policies and standards.
- Identify and implement opportunities to streamline documentation workflows and enhance the user experience.
- Manage moderately complex tasks independently and escalate more complex issues to senior staff when necessary.
Qualifications
- An active DoD Secret Clearance is required for consideration.
- Bachelor's degree in related field preferred and have 5 years of documented experience relevant to this position. Alternatively, have 6 years of documented experience relevant to this position.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in writing policy for a government agency.
- Minimum of 5 years of policy experience with an Information Technology, Engineering, or FRCS Policy Environment.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience Policy Development and Strategic Plans.
- Demonstrate 5 years of supporting DoD Information Assurance Risk Management Framework (DIARMF).
- Document 5 years of experience regarding the ability to communicate technical information to other technical team members but also to coworkers in other departments who may not have knowledge of networking technical terminology.
- Demonstrate 5 years of experience with developing and documenting processes and procedures for the day-to-day operations.
