Position Overview:
The Vice President of Strategic Growth will lead efforts to expand the company's footprint and capture new business within the federal financials, national security, and DOD sectors. This executive-level position is responsible for shaping and executing the business development strategy in these areas, managing key client relationships, and driving growth through successful government contract pursuits. The ideal candidate will have extensive federal contracting experience, understanding the unique needs of these sectors, and a proven track record building relationships with federal agency decision-makers.
Must Have Experience:
Experience qualifying, capturing, and bidding opportunities across federal civilian and DOD sectors in Robotic Process Automation (RPA), digital transformation initiatives, and data.

Experience qualifying, capturing, and bidding opportunities across federal civilian and DOD sectors in Salesforce and ServiceNow.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement a strategic business development plan targeting federal financials, national security, and regulatory agencies.
• Lead efforts to identify and capture new business opportunities aligned with service offerings such as data analytics, cloud engineering, IT modernization, and intelligent automation. Utilize existing contracting vehicles, GWAC (OASIS, Polaris), and IDIQs to qualify and bid task orders.
• Cultivate and nurture relationships with key decision-makers across federal financial, national security, and regulatory agencies to ensure contract awards and successful execution.
• Partner with capture and proposal leadership to manage proposal development, strategy, and compliance with federal procurement regulations.
• Monitor industry trends, government priorities, and competitor activities to strategically position the company in the federal marketplace.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and forums relevant to targeted federal sectors.
• Lead, mentor, and support the business development team to align with organizational goals and foster a results-oriented culture.
• Collaborate with COO and senior leaders to align business development strategies with company-wide objectives.
• Ensure compliance with federal procurement regulations (FAR, DFARS) and best practices.
Qualifications:
• 10+ years of business development experience in federal contracting, with focus on federal financial services, national security, regulatory agencies, and technology consulting services (IT modernization, cloud engineering, analytics, automation).
• Sector expertise includes federal financials (U.S. Treasury, BEP, SEC, OCC, FDIC), National Security (DHS, DOJ, DoS), federal civilian (NSF, USDA), and DOD (Navy, Army, Air Force).
• Demonstrated success capturing and managing both small business and unrestricted government contracts, particularly in financial services, national security, and healthcare.
• Established relationships with federal agency stakeholders including program managers and contracting officers.
• Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and ability to adapt to changing market conditions.
• Leadership experience in mentoring teams, managing complex projects, and driving results collaboratively.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Government, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of federal procurement regulations (FAR, DFARS) and sector-specific regulatory requirements.

Compensation:
Competitive salary and benefits package based on experience.
$225,000 to $350,000+ per year annual salary.
