The Opportunity:
Join CACI as a DevSecOps Engineer and contribute to the efficient delivery of our cloud-based solutions. You will play a crucial role in enhancing our DevSecOps processes. This role offers significant opportunities for professional growth and innovation in a dynamic and challenging environment.
Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage AWS GovCloud infrastructure utilizing native services including ECS, Lambda, and Step Functions.
- Implement and maintain CloudFormation templates and other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to ensure scalable and repeatable deployments.
- Maintain and optimize robust GitLab CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.
- Implement and enforce DevOps best practices within the CI/CD workflow.
- Leverage containerization technologies to enhance application deployment and management.
- Ensure compliance with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
- Identify, assess, and remediate vulnerabilities within the cloud infrastructure and applications.
- Analyze regular security assessments and vulnerability scans.
- Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to foster a culture of collaboration.
- Monitor system performance and lead optimization efforts to improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues in the deployment pipeline and cloud infrastructure.
- Contribute to the documentation of processes, procedures, and standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance DevOps practices and cybersecurity posture.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8-10 years of experience in DevSecOps or similar roles.
- Extensive hands-on experience with AWS GovCloud and native services (ECS, Lambda, Step Functions).
- Proven experience with CloudFormation or similar IaC tools.
- Deep experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines and other CI/CD tools.
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and practices.
- Solid familiarity with cybersecurity tools and practices, including STIGs compliance and vulnerability remediation.
- Advanced scripting skills (Python, Bash, etc.).
- Extensive knowledge of containerization technologies and experience with Iron Bank for secure container image management.
Desired:
- **Certifications:**
- AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional).
- Cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, Security+).
- **Additional Experience:**
- Experience with other IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, AWS CDK).
- Experience with additional CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI).
- Experience with security scanning tools (e.g., Prisma, Tenable).

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
