Configuration Manager 2

The Configuration Manager oversees the configuration management (CM) process for both developmental and operational systems. This role ensures the consistency and integrity of system configurations throughout the project lifecycle. The CM supports version control, configuration audits, and documentation of hardware/software baselines to maintain system stability and compliance with CM policies.

Required Skills

• Assist in using CM tools (e.g., DOORS, Eclipse) to store, track, and manage configuration items.
• Implement hardware/software version control processes, procedures, and policies.
• Maintain and audit CM documentation, including change requests and configuration baselines.
• Assist in release and configuration status accounting and control.
• Help analyze proposed changes to system baselines and coordinate configuration audits.
