Functional Mission Analyst

The individual shall provide Functional Mission Analysis support to identify critical information technology architecture and supporting infrastructure that supports the warfighting mission. The individual shall brief supporting recommendations and Courses of Actions. Personnel supporting Functional Mission Analysis work activities shall possess a fundamental understanding of DoD Mission Assurance concepts and principles and how they relate to the USAF Mission. Personnel shall be familiar with the purpose and use of the Mission Assurance Database Support System (MADSS) and other similar data base repositories, such as the Strategic Mission Assurance Database System (SMADS). Individual shall possess an in-depth knowledge of various technical resources pertinent to emerging cyber tools and capabilities required to perform functional mission analysis and supporting assessments, including open source technologies and instructions published by the Air Force Cyber College.

Minimum Job Requirements:
• System and Network Administration background
• Experience with network topologies
• Experience with maintaining critical systems to ensure mission success (understanding system up-time 99.9999%)
• IT Configuration Management experience/background
• Experience working with MRT-C (Mission Relevant Terrain-in Cyberspace)
• Ability to interface with O-6/O-5 level leadership outside of the comm/cyber career field

Possesses at least one of the following certifications:
• Security + Certification
• CCNP or CCNA
 Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
 CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP)
