The Opportunity:
The focus of this position is to directly support the Waterfront Operations office (WFO) and Logistics efforts at Ship Repair Facility, Japan Regional Maintenance Center (SRF-JRMC). This includes coordination, management, and validation of WFO deliverables. The work will be performed in accordance with the relevant guidance, including but not limited to, the Naval Modernization Process Manual (NMP-MOM), the Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual (JFMM), the Availability Management Manual (AMM), and the Advanced Industrial Management - Next Generation (AIM-NG) Process Manual. The work will be as part of a team and will include significant interaction with personnel from both internal and external stakeholders.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. Responsibilities:
- Perform WFO coordination functions at SRF-JRMC.
- Compile, develop, manage, and lead WFO briefings, reports, and correspondence that meet the needs of Maintenance Providers, Project Team, and WFO Leadership.
- Review packages for completeness of all WFO deliverables.
- Maintain current and develop new Memorandums of Agreement for SRF-JRMC RMMCO office with each AIT.
- Ensure there is adequate authorization for each modernization effort prior to authorizing any work in RMMCO.
- Identify, help provide resolution for, and track actions associated with WFO requirements.
- Provide weekly reporting on availability status to stakeholders and upper echelon.
- Capture, identify, implement, and share Lessons Learned across other departments.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required
- Active Secret Security Clearance
- Three to five years of relevant, related experience (WFO in a Shipyard or RMC environment)
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications
- Ability to read and understand Navy Message traffic Experience with Navy Data Environment (NDE)
- Experience with Advanced Industrial Management (WebAIM)
- Ability to evaluate and solve moderately complex problems with some oversight as required
- Understanding of Navy Maintenance and Modernization processes
- Specialized experience in one or more of the following areas: Command WFO Office Project Modernization Manager Project Planner
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with little or no supervision
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to educate others on responsible tasks and requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Work is performed in a typical shipyard environment with exposure to noise, dirt, and the environment. Wearing personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift will be required
