We are currently seeking Electrical Engineers to join our team based in Huntsville, AL.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present electrical engineering materials for Requirements and Design Reviews
- Study basic design concepts and criteria for more complex problems
- Perform data analysis to identify trends that may indicate out of tolerance or degraded part performance
- Perform testing to characterize off-nominal behavior of components
- Derive requirements through multiple sources of documentation and design meetings
- Provide formal peer reviews of engineering designs for team members
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship with an active US DoD Secret Security clearance is required
- Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 5 years of related experience
- Prior experience with the design, test, and/or integration and deployment of electrical components, electrical ground support equipment (EGSE), or subsystems
- Understanding and application of electrical engineering technical standards
- Demonstrated electrical component design experience
- Must be able to support an in-person / closed-area work environment full-time
Preferred Qualifications:
- B.S. in Electrical engineering
- Release of engineering documentation including technical drawings, specifications, and test procedures
- Burndown of nonconformance and/or root cause failure analysis of electronic systems
- Mentoring and cross-training team members across a diverse set of technologies and electrical system architectures
- Experience using analytical software tools
- LabVIEW programming and experience with National Instruments (NI) hardware and software products
