Join the FISMSS project as a Financial Business Systems Analyst / Client Lead supporting financial management applications using Agile and ITSM methodologies that help our Department of Defense customers plan, budget, and execute resources to support our country (PPBE). We have been supporting our customers for over 25 years with multiple applications across different clients. We continue to develop and implement exciting and complex solutions to support the evolving needs of our clients.

We are looking for experienced and dynamic individuals with excellent communication, analytical and organizational skills to join our team. The team is headquartered in Chantilly, VA and currently works in a hybrid remote setting (some telework, some in person meetings). This position requires local travel to the Pentagon to meet with clients throughout the year and provide onsite support to them during budget cycles .

Responsibilities:

As a Financial Business Systems Analyst / Client Lead , you will work collaboratively in an Agile environment to ensure the project is continuously improving and implementing optimal solutions. The position will also provide on-site client support during the budget cycles to build and maintain strong client relationships. Client Leads are primarily responsible for the health of the Client relationship with CACI teams.

Under minimal supervision, performs requirements gathering and analysis; designs, tests, and troubleshoots existing functionality and enhancements in .NET web applications; drives continuous improvement for the client, negotiates timelines and manages expectations, and ensures solutions meet or exceed expectations for quality and schedule.
  • Acquire expertise with our clients' business processes and understand how our applications help solve issues and meet their requirements.
  • Innovate with clients; continuously anticipate and analyze stakeholder/user needs, document decisions, and identify solutions to new and emerging business processes.
  • Lead client meetings to discuss project progress, outline future objectives, and collect detailed requirements.
  • Function as the main point of contact and liaison for CACI's team with the clients, working closely to build trusted partnerships with key decision makers and stakeholders ranging from individual contributors to Chief/Division Leaders.
  • Identify new opportunities to expand application user base to new organizations, groups, or processes, and modernize our applications to offer additional capabilities that are valued by our customers.
  • Serve as an integral member of a close-knit Agile team under the direction of Program Management and Scrum Master.
  • Work closely with scrum teams to understand and resolve software problems, resolve customer support requests, respond to requests for software modifications or enhancements, and prioritize work on behalf of the client.
  • Work directly with clients and scrum team BSAs to gather system requirements and produce detailed requirement and functional specifications.
  • Work closely with the development team to ensure requirements are fully understood, collaborate on application designs, and assist with overcoming obstacles faced during the design/develop/test/release process.
  • Conduct system testing at the development site and at the client site to validate requirements.
  • On behalf of our client, perform "User Acceptance testing" to ensure applications on client environments will meet or exceed expectations.
  • Conduct comprehensive training sessions for new and existing application users through both virtual and in-person formats.
  • Develop and update documentation, including progress reports, functional requirement specifications and user help guides.
  • Analyze utilization trends to identify training needs, new content, and delivery of training to end user audiences ranging from contributor to VIP oversight.


Qualifications

Required :
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (in Business Information Systems, Mathematics, or similarly analytical field
  • Local travel to Arlington, VA required for customer meetings and to perform onsite support when needed
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Government Contracting and/or Financial Management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, and ability to both work independently and collaborate with others in a distributed team environment
  • Possesses a strong understanding of business applications (Microsoft Office suite, especially MS Excel), government financial management (PPBE), and IT service management principles.
  • Ability to contribute productively while working in a remote environment, maintaining excellent communication with clients; and to work from client site 4-5 days/week for 2-3 months each year and as requested by clients to provide financial application cycle support.
  • Experience working directly with Government clients
  • Ability to prioritize, track, and complete tasks according to Sprint deadlines with limited oversight
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance
  • Extensive experience with the software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, documentation , testing and supporting software applications.


Desired:
  • Experience supporting DoD appropriations Operations & Maintenance (O&M), Procurement, RDT&E, Military Pay (MILPERS), and/or Defense Working Capital Fund (DWCF)
  • Interest in and/or comfort with presenting to an audience a plus
  • Experience with influencing others
  • Experience working in an Agile environment where priorities and deadlines evolve
  • Certified Defense Financial Management (CDFM) certification or willingness to achieve is desired

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$90,300-$189,600
