Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide cyber counterintelligence technical support focused on identifying and assessing insider threats, intrusions, and network-based vulnerabilities that may impact NGA and its mission partners.
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to anomalous activities and digital threats to inform counterintelligence investigations and enterprise protection.
- Use technical tools and threat data to evaluate ongoing cyber activity with potential foreign intelligence entity (FIE) involvement.
- Produce intelligence reports and briefings to support CI cyber threat mitigation planning.
- Collaborate with cyber defense teams, CI analysts, forensic examiners, and other stakeholders to support the integration of technical indicators into CI operations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of adversary cyber TTPs (Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures) and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Assist in the development of network security monitoring and data correlation capabilities for threat analysis.
- Document and communicate findings effectively in support of risk assessment and mitigation efforts.
Minimum Requirements:
- TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Intelligence Studies, or Engineering
- Minimum of 7 years of CI or cyber threat-related experience
- Familiarity with relevant CI and cyber threat analytical frameworks
- Strong understanding of intrusion detection techniques, cyber TTPs, and cyber CI indicators
Tools/Technologies (from SOW):
- M3, Palantir, Tripwire Analytic Capability (TAC), ARCSIGHT, RSA Security Analytics, CCD, TIDE, Splunk, FireEye, and forensic software suites
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Cybersecurity, National Intelligence, or related discipline
- Hands-on experience conducting cyber counterintelligence investigations or insider threat assessments
- Previous experience supporting national security or IC cyber missions
Salary Range:
$95,000-$115,000
