Volt is immediately hiring for Linux Automation Systems Administrator in Aurora, Colorado
As Linux Automation Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for:
Responsibilities include building, maintaining, and securing Information Technology systems and directly supporting customer mission-critical capabilities using industry standard automation tools. You will work closely with program developers and system engineers to research issues, determine root causes, and implement solutions to system problems. Must be able to support occasional after-hours maintenance and on-call support, and must be able to lift to 35 pounds in support of hardware installations. Occasional travel may be required for installation support. This position is an onsite role.
This is a Contract opportunity for 12 months.
Clearance– Active TS/SCI w/ Poly
The Ideal candidate will have:
• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or a master’s degree and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience.
• An active cyber security certification, qualified for DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 on start date. IAT Level 2 requires one or more of the following Professional Certifications: Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CySA+, CND.
• Experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) based systems
• Using and developing automation tools/frameworks such as Ansible, as well as scripting, primarily Bash and Python.
Qualifications We Prefer
• Deployment and administration of systems, storage, and networking in virtualized environments using VMware vCenter
• Experience managing network devices
• Experience administering Windows-based systems
• Experience with pipeline tools such as Jenkins and Artifactory
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and troubleshoot problems with efficiency
Pay Rate:- $82 - $92/hr
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
