JOB DESCRIPTION

ASRC Federal is looking for an experienced Project Manager - Associate to support their work with the U.S. Army Contracting Command (ACC) Chief Information Officer (CIO) G6 at Redstone Arsenal, AL. The Project Manager will work closely with a team of intermediate-level and senior-level PMs to support the full lifecycle of IT and software-related projects-from initial requirements gathering to deployment and post-launch sustainment.

This role includes maintaining and updating detailed project plans, evaluating technical solutions, facilitating user discussions, and tracking project performance. The associate PM will also support enterprise-level reporting and analysis to leadership and provide sustainment plans and utilization metrics to ensure project success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and maintain project plans, including timelines, sprints, risk assessments, resource tracking, and master schedules
  • Track, modify, and report on project status throughout the lifecycle using government-provided tools
  • Present project performance and "return to green" recovery plans for at-risk projects
  • Support and facilitate discussions with enterprise users to conduct business process reviews
  • Conduct quarterly post-deployment reviews for delivered applications
  • Track and report system utilization metrics and engage with customers on adoption and performance
  • Provide detailed analysis and recommendations to CIO leadership and Governance staff
  • Maintain and manage the government's centralized repository of business applications and tools
  • Monitor and present key performance metrics using visually effective presentations tailored to leadership
  • Develop software sustainment plans, including updates, maintenance, and user support

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in project or technical support roles
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly SharePoint and Microsoft Project
  • Experience analyzing and briefing technical solutions with consideration of cost, schedule, risk, and benefit

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience supporting Army or DoD IT programs
  • Familiarity with Agile or SAFe methodologies and project lifecycles
  • Experience presenting executive-level briefs and project status reports

  • SECRET Clearance


EDUCATION REQUIRMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science from an ABET-accredited or CAE-designated institution

CERTIFICATION
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or Certified Associate Project Manager (CAPM) certification preferred
  • SAFe Certification preferred
