Technical Specialist
An experienced Energy Group Technical Specialist is sought to support a range of mission-critical energy systems and infrastructure projects. This role is responsible for the design, installation, maintenance, and optimization of power and energy management systems across federal and commercial environments. The Technical Specialist will collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and field personnel to deliver high-quality, energy-efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide technical expertise for the deployment and maintenance of power distribution and energy management systems.
• Support project lifecycle phases including design review, equipment commissioning, and system integration.
• Analyze and troubleshoot electrical systems such as switchgear, UPS, power meters, and automation controls.
• Conduct testing and validation to ensure performance and compliance with technical standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet project scope, budget, and schedule targets.
• Prepare technical documentation, reporting, and as-built drawing packages.
• Participate in client meetings, site assessments, and quality inspections.
• Maintain adherence to safety standards and promote a zero-incident workplace culture.

Qualifications
• Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Energy Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in energy systems, electrical distribution, or control systems.
• Solid understanding of low and medium-voltage power systems, SCADA, or PLC-based controls.
• Proficiency with design and analysis tools such as AutoCAD, ETAP, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, and other relevant electrical codes and standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and specifications.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel as required.

• Experience supporting government, data center, or industrial projects.
• Active security clearance (if applicable).
• Industry certifications such as PMP, LEED, or NICET.
