Position: IT Asset manager
Location: Onsite in Chantilly. Some remote when possible
Clearance: Secret clearance
looking for an asset management analyst to support a large program in Northern, VA. The asset team handles the shipping, receiving, tracking and management of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE). The ideal candidate will participate in all asset management activities such as inventorying equipment, maintaining asset records using multiple asset tracking databases and files, assist with shipping materials to sites, and cataloging receipt of materials from vendors. The individual will work closely with the other asset management team members and various groups across the program. The individual must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, a self-motivator who takes initiative, able to handle multiple tasks, excellent organizational skills, and pays particular attention to details.
Responsibilities:
• Adding/updating records in spreadsheets and the ServiceNow asset database when equipment is received/shipped/transferred
• Processing government forms such as DD1149, DD250 or DA3161
• Coordinating with stakeholders regarding material/property shipments/transfers
• Participates in equipment inventories with CACI personnel and government POCs
• Verify counts against accompanying documents for material arrivals and outgoing shipments
• Processing pick requests
• Processing shipment requests with the approved shipping vendor
Required Skills/Qualifications:
• College degree (B.S. or B.A.) in Business or other related discipline. Experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong work ethic; self-starter
• Working knowledge of the MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Highly responsible, team-oriented individual
• Excellent organizational skills
• Prior professional experience
• Active Secret clearance (required), Interim is acceptable.
• Ideal candidate has at least 5 years of work experience
• Candidate must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Skills/Qualifications:
• Knowledge of US Army supply practices and procedures, logistics, command structure, etc.
• Experience creating and working with government forms DD1149, DA3161, DD250
• Experience using ServiceNow
• Ability to use a forklift
