Are you ready to bring your data science skills to the Pacific? We’re hiring Data Scientists to join a mission-driven team in Hawaii where you’ll help transform how analytics are developed, executed, and scaled. This role emphasizes automation, data parsing, and workflow development, and offers the opportunity to have a direct impact by optimizing how critical data flows across systems.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and implement automated analytic workflows to improve processing efficiency and reliability.
- Parse and structure complex data from a variety of sources into usable formats.
- Work closely with mission analysts and data engineers to understand operational data flows and improve them.
- Build scalable, modular tools using Python to enable rapid development of analytics.
- Identify bottlenecks in existing data processes and propose automation or simplification strategies.
- Ensure analytic products are reproducible, maintainable, and well-documented.
Required Skills
- 3 years of experience with a Bachelor’s in a technical field, preferably Mathematics
- Proficiency in Python for data parsing, automation, and analytic scripting.
- Strong understanding of data flow architectures and end-to-end data handling.
- Hands-on experience with data parsing, structuring, and validation techniques.
- Familiarity with analytics tool development, ideally in production environments.
- Ability to work collaboratively in technical teams and communicate findings clearly.
