Volt is immediately hiring for an Integration & Test Engineer.
As an Integration & Test Engineer, you will:
This is a 12-month full-time Contract or contract-to-hire opportunity.
Clearance: Active TS/SCI w/ Poly
The ideal candidate will have:
Requires a bachelor’s degree in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM), and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience, unless prohibited by local laws/regulations
Have a CompTIA Security + Certification – Linux
Demonstrated system engineering lifecycle experience developing or testing large software systems
Leading test events, customer demos, test team coordination, modifying and creating test procedures, ad hoc testing, documenting test results, and reporting and writing defect reports
Support of agile software development activities, including requirements specification and integration test and verification activities (full life-cycle)
Ability to maintain technical cost and schedule for systems test engineering and software integration activities
Have excellent communication and organizational skills; able to articulate intent, frame requirements and test activities, set priorities, develop practical methods, and align resources to meet goals.
Experience interacting with both programmatic and technical presentations
Prefer
Significant experience working in DevOps and/or DevSecOps or test driven development in an Agile development environment
Experience in a technical role of a large multi-disciplined engineering team
Experience with cloud-based S/W architectures and systems
AWS cloud experience - AWS cloud technology knowledge and implementation
Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) knowledge and experience, as a System Engineer
Experience using modeling resources and methodologies like Cameo, Enterprise Architect, Rhapsody, etc.
Experience using Agile tool sets (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc.), and evaluation of COTS / FOSS applications
Pay Rate: $80/hr. to $92/hr.
