As directed, performs a variety of warehousing duties, which require an understanding of the establishments' storage plan, Inventory Programs, and bar scanner operations.

Arranging and taking inventory of stored materials.
- Fills shipping or transfer order for finished goods from stored merchandise in accordance with specification on requisitions or other instructions.
- Examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage.
- Removing materials from storage and preparing it for distribution.
- Inputs data into computer, keeps records and submits reports to supervisor.
- Utilizes inventory programs and bar scanner equipment.
- Reports discrepancies to the Manager. Routes and directs materials to prescribed storage locations and stacks or palletizes materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods.
- Keep records of incoming, outgoing, requisitions, and additional stock reporting short supplies to supervisor.
- May operate hand or power trucks in performing warehouse duties.
- Assists with receiving, packaging, and unpacking and inventorying of supply items as needed.
- Distribute supplies as needed
- Work is completed in a priority established by supervision or facility need.
- All work will be completed with a high degree of professionalism, quality and craftsmanship.
- Lulls in workload are used to maintain a clean and orderly work area and to insure clerical tasks are up to date.
- Keeps up to date on departmental and facility safety standards and local codes and policies.
Qualifications
- Must be a US citizen or a person lawfully admitted into the United States for permanent residence and have resided in the U.S. for the last five years
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED
- Must have 1 Year Experience in warehousing and/or logistics.
- Must be able to Pass a criminal background and consumer credit check (no criminal record)
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DHS/ICE government clearance
- Must pass all pre-employment and random drug tests
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must possess a valid state driver's license
- The incumbent must be trustworthy
- The incumbent must have a minimum of one year of experience in warehouse operations
- Must possess a knowledge of day-to-day operations of a warehouse
- Must maintain confidentiality
- Must possess a high degree of integrity, accountability and adhere to the American Correctional Association and DHS ICE standards
- Must demonstrate an ability to work with a diverse population of people, including people of different cultures, with different values and lifestyles, with a cross-cultural perspective
- Must maintain current/physical residence in the continental United States
