Overview
Metronome is seeking an experienced Data Scientist to support the QM Office at its SCIF in Alexandria, VA. This expert-level Exploitation Specialist will develop, sustain, and optimize data pipelines in support of mission-critical operations.
This role supports the integration of new sensors into NGA's MAVEN-its flagship AI initiative that leverages computer vision to analyze GEOINT data (NTM, FMV, and emerging sensors). The mission is to automate object detection and information extraction, accelerating intelligence workflows. This is a highly strategic position suited for high-performing candidates with strong technical capabilities.

- Leverage APIs to query systems and migrate data across environments.
- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases and cloud-based architectures.
- Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines supporting diverse formats and interfaces.
- Translate complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- 4+ years of experience with SQL or NoSQL databases and cloud architectures.
- Strong experience with APIs for data migration and integration.
- Programming experience with Python, JavaScript, or Java.
- Proven ability to develop and support operational data pipelines.
- TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain CI Polygraph.

- Experience with NGA IT enterprise solutions (e.g., NGA CORE, NGA MLOps).
- Familiarity with Government ATO processes and NPE certificates.
- Experience with the Scaled Agile Framework for Enterprise (SAFe).
- Ability to develop dynamic visualizations for monitoring pipeline health (availability, currency, volumetrics).
