The Configuration and Data Management (CDM) organization is responsible for ensuring our products are under configuration control and delivered on time. The CDM Organization consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices and our customers.
The Sensor Configuration Management (SCM) Department is looking for a Senior Configuration Analyst, located in Aurora, CO (On-site)
As a Senior Configuration Analyst, you will be supporting engineering programs to manage and control configurations and baselines, ensuring complete traceability of changes through a documented change management process. Managing plans, reports and coordinating activities concerned with document and data control, product and documentation configuration management, and engineering change status. Interface with all engineering disciplines and program management.
The Analyst will also be responsible for training the CM processes to stakeholders, demonstrating great attention to detail executing tasks and creating supporting documentation, and communicating status to functional and program key team members.
This position requires the candidate to work in a collaborative environment in which evolving program priorities, cultivate team member task priority. This position is part of a larger CMDM team and requires regular collaboration with team members. The candidate must be comfortable communicating in both oral and written formats.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

What You Will Do
- Control configuration of baselines through Configuration Control Boards. Monitor the incorporation of configuration change items.
- Developing and Implementing Configuration Management principles, processes and training, such as configuration control, identification, data management (library/repository), product release and delivery, and configuration audits.
- Responsible for ensuring that all program-related information is effectively stored and controlled throughout the contract lifecycle including digital files and work products.
- Conduct audits of CM activities to verify compliance with established CM procedures and standards
- Collaborates across the Program Management Office (PMO) proactively managing CM risks, opportunities, and overall deliverables
- Ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and applicable government standards, including:
- Correct markings, security labels, and distribution statements
- Satisfactory reproduction quality and/or electronic file integrity
- Appropriate stakeholder approvals
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires Bachelor's degree and 5 years of prior relevant professional experience OR an Advanced degree and 3 years of relevant professional experience OR In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant professional experience is required.
- 5 years of experience in data management and/or configuration management
- Experience with Windchill PDM or related tools
- Experience with Microsoft 365
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Top Secret Clearance (TS/SCI)
- Knowledge of EIA-649, National Consensus Standard for Configuration Management
- Knowledge of GEIA-859, Data Management
- Certifications from either NDIA or CMII in Configuration Management
- Experience with managing reports and documentation
