Boeing Defense, Space & Security is looking for a Senior Production System Architect to join the team based out of El Segundo, CA.
Position Responsibilities:
This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret / SCI Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Boeing Defense, Space & Security is looking for a Senior Production System Architect to join the team based out of El Segundo, CA.
Position Responsibilities:
- Leads Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) in analyzing product development, innovative producibility studies and production/tooling philosophies.
- Conceptualizes and oversees the implementation of the program architecture for build.
- Consults upper management on long-range planning. Develops manufacturing plans or concepts for high level program requirements.
- Integrates with the program to identify, quantify, and mitigate production level risks.
- Experience in working with supply chain and external vendors to improve producibility.
- Resolves complex technical problems. Organizes technical aspects of proposal development.
- Develops and authors new engineering principles, theories and advanced technologies.
- Develops advanced design solutions.
- Conducts research resulting in new product or business opportunities.
- Consults on lean principles and technologies for enterprise-wide initiatives.
- Documents and communicates producibility best practices.
- Identifies training needs.
- Establishes procedures, standards, protocols and reporting requirements.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- 5+ years of experience with Manufacturing and/or Integration in a production environment.
- 5+ years of experience performing producibility analysis and deriving production system requirements.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Extensive experience with vehicle level assembly integration and test.
- Knowledgeable on overall production systems such as MRP, MBOM methodologies, and Configuration Management.
- Knowledgeable in common satellite product structures and build flows.
