We're looking for a Service Desk Specialist with a strong background in enterprise IT support to assist critical national security operations. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as a Tier 1 team member of an enterprise IT Service Desk, supporting service requests, incidents, and issues for business and mission-critical systems.
- Receive, prioritize, document, and resolve end-user requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Use vendor-provided and internal diagnostic tools to perform hands-on desktop-level troubleshooting.
- Support a wide range of systems and applications including desktop OSs, Microsoft Office, VOIP phones, SharePoint, and unified communications platforms.
- Interact directly with customers in-person or over the phone to accurately capture service needs.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT service delivery and documentation.
- 1+ years of experience in an enterprise IT Service Desk or Help Desk environment
- Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
- Active CompTIA A+ ce, CompTIA Network+ ce, or SSCP certification
- Experience supporting Microsoft Windows desktop environments and collaboration tools like SharePoint, Skype for Business, and Microsoft Office
- Strong customer service skills and ability to elicit technical details from users
- Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI Polygraph
- Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or MCSA: Windows 10
- Formal training or certification in ITIL modules (Service Operation, Operational Support and Analysis, and/or Continual Service Improvement)
- Familiarity with ITSM platforms such as BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, or HP Service Manager
- Experience with remote monitoring, diagnostics, and enterprise tools such as Microsoft System Center, IBM Tivoli, SolarWinds, or Splunk
