Raytheon is seeking an innovative, high-energy, self-motivated Subcontract Manager to join the Air & Space Defense Systems (ASDS) strategic business unit and be a valued teammate and contributor. This role will support one of the program areas within the space portfolio and other exciting new business pursuits within the product line. The candidate will be responsible for multi-year development and production subcontracts requiring ongoing oversight and administration of specifications, statements of work (SOW), and terms and conditions. This role will interface heavily with subcontractors' cross-functional teams and their lower tier suppliers to ensure subcontractors provide on-time delivery of compliant product/service at or below program budget. The role will require management of large competitive pursuits and on-contract program growth.

This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

What You Will Do
- Perform procurement and supplier administration functions in support of U.S. Government (Domestic and International) subcontracts.
- Manage and care for high dollar FFP and Time and Material subcontracts from $10K to equal/greater $100M in value.
- Manage the overall sourcing and procurement activities from development through production and final contract close out.
- Manage tactical and strategic aspects of supplier relationships. Monitor and care for multiple subcontractors and material suppliers. Includes interface with functional and internal support organizations, such as Integrated Product Teams (IPT), Engineering, Production Control, Operations and Material Program Managers, and Program Office.
- Develop supply chain strategies and alternatives.
- Develop solutions to problems of unusual complexity that require a high degree of ingenuity, creativity, and innovation.
- Perform risk analysis including identifying risks, opportunities, potential impacts, and mitigation plans.
- Lead the supplier organization team and be the focal point for subcontractor performance, including RFP generation, review adequacy of requirements flow-down, development of negotiation plan.
- Lead negotiation of price, delivery, payments, and all contractual terms; Purchase Order placement and maintenance; Milestone monitoring and completion of supplier assessments; assist in supply chain forecast generation.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a bachelor's degree and a minimum of eight (8) years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of five (5) years' experience.
- Minimum 5 years experience in a procurement and/or subcontracts role.
- Department of Defense contract experience.
- Experience working with FAR/DFAR.

Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience negotiating contracts.
- Experience awarding and/or managing subcontracts.
