Required Skills:
• System Engineer to perform systems engineering activities and assist in the preparation of a work product in technical process areas associated with the ISO/IEC 15288.
• Develop and deliver work product in this customer suite of systems products in the ISO/IEC 15288 Process areas.
• Independently analyze and recommend alternatives for elements of the Customer suite of systems technical design.
• Design and implement hardware solutions, including documentation, testing and modification, document designs, including schematics, mechanical drawings, cable assemblies, parts lists, and test and evaluate hardware designs to ensure proper operation.
• Assist in the end-to-end integration of complex electronic systems by interpreting technical requirements and transforming detailed wiring diagrams into fully operational solutions, aligning with ISO/IEC 15288 Technical process areas.
• Collaborate with engineers to support the design, assembly, and integration of cable harnesses and multi-chassis system architectures, ensuring alignment with system-level requirements and configuration management standards.
• Conduct system-level troubleshooting, verification, and performance testing, both in lab environments and during live deployments.
Education:
• A Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus six years of systems engineering experience
• Or a High School Diploma or GED plus ten years of general system engineering experience (any
Process Area).
• Or a Master's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus four years of systems engineering experience
• Or a PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an
accredited college or university plus four years of systems engineering experience.
RF Engineering:
• Shall design and implement hardware and software solutions, including documentation, testing and modification, document designs, including schematics, mechanical drawings, cable assemblies, parts lists, etc., and test and evaluate hardware and software designs to ensure proper operation.
• A minimum of three years engineering experience Within the last five years:
• A minimum of three years of experience in three of the specializations listed in Table C (Appendix C). A BS degree in engineering, telecommunications, or related technical field may be substituted for experience in one specialization.
• A minimum of three years Integrated Circuit Board design and development experience (see table D Appendix C)
• Within the last 3 years, iii. A minimum of two years development, integration, testing, and/or installation experience to include generating system/component specifications, recommending solutions, and preparing and conducting test plans (stand-alone, DT&E and OAT&E).
• A minimum of two years of experience with the functionality and inter-processing of packet- and circuit-based HW & SW solutions to include configuring, changing, and optimizing solutions.
