Cyber Mission Risk Analyst

Job Description:
Support assessments of cyber risks to weapon systems and critical infrastructure within Department of Defense’s management, oversight, and programmatic evaluation purview. Assist with stakeholder engagement regarding risks to combatant command missions and planning efforts due to adversarial cyber actions. Provide technical expertise in the decomposition of operational plans into mission essential tasks, joint warfighting functions and other commonly used indices of mission effectiveness. Support the development a DoD decision support tool that aligns cyber vulnerability exploitation into quantitative mission impacts. Support the development and maturation of a novel wargaming methodology that integrates modeling and simulation tools.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 7 years professional experience. Equivalencies can be granted for directly related internships and education (1 yr. BS, 2 yrs. MS)
Minimum 3 years of combined experience with cyberspace operations, operational planning, cyber mission force operations, cybersecurity studies, wargaming, defense policy, or modeling and simulation
Experience with mission and OPLAN decomposition into Mission Essential Tasks to define mission level risk impact
Team player capable of working well in a fast-paced environment with a diverse team of engineers, defense and intelligence analysts, scientists, and uniformed military members
Ability to plan, conduct, and analyze research to mission risk assessments
Eligibility for TS//SCI clearance
Additional Qualifications:
Experience in intelligence analysis and developing adversary capability assessments or scenarios
Experience in a military staff environment
Experience with modeling and simulation
Experience with briefing and delivering training to senior military and civilian leaders
Experience using modeling and simulation tools to conduct assessments
MA or MS Degree
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Ability to obtain TS//SCI clearance is required.
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary Range: $130,000 - $180,000 (Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.)
