A Day in the Life – What You’ll Do
• Develop software in Assembly, C, Java, Perl, or Python to support advanced cyber network operations and mission-specific applications.
• Design and implement end-to-end data flows and tasking functionality for custom cyber tools.
• Author and maintain detailed technical documentation supporting code development, system design, and deployment processes.
• Participate in design, code, and software readiness reviews in accordance with government software development standards.
• Contribute to and deliver technical presentations on assigned projects, showcasing development progress, architecture, and capabilities.
• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and mission stakeholders to support development cycles and integration into operational environments.
Is This You?
• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Network Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution
• Experience: 4+ years of relevant programming experience; OR 2+ years with a Master’s degree; OR 8+ years without a degree
• Clearance: Active Top Secret/SCI with Full-Scope Polygraph
• Traits: Mission-focused, detail-oriented, and proactive with strong communication skills and a passion for cyber development
Core Skills
Required:
• Proficiency in one or more of the following programming languages: Assembly, C, Java, Perl, Python
• Ability to design and develop secure, mission-oriented software tools
• Experience with end-to-end data flow development and tasking mechanisms
• Participation in technical documentation and formal review processes
• Comfortable presenting technical material to stakeholders and review boards
Preferred:
• Understanding of classified system environments and secure software practices
• Familiarity with modern software lifecycle processes and DevSecOps methodologies
• Knowledge of cyber operations tool development and CNO frameworks
Bonus: Ability to adapt quickly in high-security environments and contribute to high-impact national defense missions
