Mount Indie is hiring an Agile Practitioner (Product Owner) with experience in Agile frameworks, team management, and customer collaboration to support adopting, implementing, and continuously improving Agile practices across multiple teams and projects. We expect you to bring a strong foundation in Agile methodologies, project management, and leadership and have a strong desire to foster team collaboration, efficiency, and high-quality delivery. We are looking for Agile Practitioners who have critical thinking skills, and are adaptable, proactive, and passionate about driving organizational change through Agile principles. As a member of this team, you may work independently but actively participate in project-wide review of processes, team performance, and deliverable outcomes. This Agile Practitioner must collaborate effectively with a forward-thinking attitude to support continuous improvement, empower teams, and produce exceptional results.

Responsibilities include:
  • Guide, coach, and mentor teams in Agile practices.
  • Ensure Agile frameworks are consistently applied across projects and teams to optimize workflow, enhance productivity, and ensure successful delivery. This includes monitoring team performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to enhance team collaboration and output.
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to resolve any issues in the Agile process.
  • Implement Agile practices and frameworks tailored to specific project needs, regularly assessing and auditing the effectiveness of Agile processes to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Knowledge of Agile tools and techniques and the ability to use them effectively to manage workflow and team performance.
  • Optimize team processes and workflows to support efficient use of resources, time, and effort, ensuring high-quality deliverables and continuous improvement.
  • Support the evolution of Agile processes, including DevOps and CI/CD practices, to ensure continuous integration and delivery processes are in place and utilized effectively for all projects.
  • Communicate project-related issues to stakeholders and technical leads proactively and effectively, ensuring transparency and alignment across the organization.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in Agile methodologies and conduct research to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in team practices.
  • Demonstrate the ability to research and apply new tools, techniques, and solution approaches in Agile practices. Continually learn and improve your skills by sharing with others and using available training sources.


Required Skills & Qulalifications:
  • Clearance Level: TS/SCI with CI Poly
  • Education Level: Bachelors
  • 6-8 years of relevant experience to include:
  • Experience working as an Agile Coach, Scrum Master, Product Owner, or in related fields.
  • Working knowledge of Agile frameworks.
  • Experience Developing and prioritizing product requirements (functional and non-functional), allocating appropriate resources, defining requirements, collaborating with Stakeholders (Customers, suppliers, development teams, end users, etc), and managing release schedules for major and minor releases.
  • Experience designing, implementing, and managing Agile processes and practices across teams.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and techniques.
  • Ability to work effectively with a distributed team, with virtual access to project management and collaboration tools.
  • Ability to facilitate Agile ceremonies and lead teams to adopt Agile practices, supporting team collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment or independently.
  • The ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
  • Knowledge of Agile metrics and reporting, with the ability to analyze and present data to support decision-making and process improvements.

Desired Skills:
  • Working knowledge of product management, including backlog management, user story creation, and prioritization.
  • Working knowledge of team dynamics and conflict resolution strategies.
  • Knowledge of Lean practices and principles.
  • Working knowledge of cyber operations or application development.

Relevant Certifications:
  • Certifications in Agile methodologies, (e.g., Advanced Certified Scrum Master (A-CSM)
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
  • Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
  • Certified Agile Coach (ICP-ACC)
  • SAFe Agilist (SA)
