Position Overview:
Edgesource Corporation is seeking a passionate Full Stack Developer with strong TypeScript skills to help us build and scale modern, performant applications in support of our contract with the Defense Digital Service (DDS) directorate within the Department of Defense (DoD) to join our existing team working on technical software development projects in support of counter-drone & counter-Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (cUAVs) activities. DDS is a rapid response team that includes top engineers, data scientists, product managers and designers -- from industry, government and the military -- working within the Office of the Secretary of Defense. We surge in times of crisis and emerging threat, take the lessons learned and the technology built, and add to the Defense Department's capabilities. Though this role is 100% remote, program headquarters are located out of the Pentagon with outposts in Augusta, GA and Mountain View, CA requiring site visits 1-2 times annually. This position is 100% remote and can be supported as either a W2 employee or 1099/C2C consultant .

Job Duties:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using TypeScript (Node.js + modern front-end frameworks).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Build and consume RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications.
- Optimize applications for performance and scalability.
- Contribute to architecture decisions and technical planning.
Required Qualifications:
- MUST be a US citizen in order to qualify and willing to obtain a Top Secret security clearance
- 4-5 years of professional experience in full-stack development.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript.
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue).
- Solid understanding of Node.js and server-side development.
Desired Qualifications (NOT REQUIRED):
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other related field is highly desirable
