Position: ITI Program-Level Software Systems Engineer

Waypoint's client is seeking a skilled ITI Program-Level Software Systems Engineer to support the IFMC AMD Mission Command Product Office, working with contractors, government civilians and system operators.

Waypoint's client is seeking a skilled ITI Program-Level Software Systems Engineer to support the IFMC AMD Mission Command Product Office, working with contractors, government civilians and system operators.
Responsibilities :
- Develop system level features with focus on THAAD integration describing MEI and CSCI behavior, performance, and acceptance criteria necessary to provide guidance for software implementation.
- Lead reviews and adjudicating comments made against the features.
- MBSE approach is used to document the features using an Agile workflow.
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or related field is required.
- 7 or more years of system engineering experience.
- must have experience in one or more of the following areas:
- THAAD system
- IBCS system
- tactical command and control systems
- tactical weapons systems
- tactical sensor systems
- software, hardware
- requirements decomposition
- MBSE tools and languages
- Comfortable working as a team member in an Agile environment
- Engage various levels of stakeholders to ensure that software is capable of meeting the needs of the intended users.
- Highly organized with a strong technical background in system engineering principles
- Secret security clearance (or eligibility).
- System engineering experience in support of DoD programs (Army Air and Missile Defense program; highly preferred).
- Hands-on experience creating models in Cameo or MagicDraw using SysML and UAF.
- Experience using Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- SAFe Agile experience.
