PEO Operations/Communication Support
Position Overview:
This role provides critical operational, administrative, and communication support to the
Mapping, Charting, and Geodesy (MC&G) Program Executive Office (PEO). The incumbent will
manage internal processes, training coordination, records, taskers, communications, and
executive-level support activities across the PEO. This position ensures efficient internal
operations and enables effective engagement across the IC, DoD, and mission partners.
Key Responsibilities:
•
Oversee and document internal MC&G PEO processes, standard operating procedures,
and organizational workflows
•
Manage manpower planning, workspace allocation, and resource requirements across
MC&G PEO branches and projects
•
Serve as the MC&G PEO Training Coordinator, including maintaining the training registry
and facilitating staff training opportunities
•
Provide meeting support and facilitation for internal and external MC&G PEO events,
including program reviews and technical exchanges
•
Act as the Corporate Communications and Information Manager for the MC&G PEO,
ensuring consistent and effective messaging
•
Manage the MC&G PEO tasking process, including posting taskers, tracking responses,
and reporting on behalf of the PEO
•
Lead records and information oversight processes, ensuring compliance with records
management requirements
•
Support scheduling and correspondence for the MC&G PEO leadership team, including
calendar and email management as needed
•
Administer civil service and military award processes, including preparation of
nomination packages and end-to-end tracking
•
Maintain the MC&G PEO organizational chart and billet structure
•
Manage and maintain the corporate information compendium using SharePoint and
shared file systems
•
Assist with managing and distributing internal communications, policies, and standards
across the PEO
•
Ensure email distribution groups are accurate and optimized for effective
communication
•
Compile and submit Weekly Activity Report (WAR) inputs and provide briefings as
needed
Required Qualifications:
•
TS/SCI (SCI eligible) Clearance required
•
Minimum 2 years of experience supporting at least two IC or DoD directorates, with
demonstrated understanding of hierarchical communication and internal management
processes
•
At least 1 year of experience managing organizational manpower and resource needs for
large-scale programs
•
1+ year of experience managing internal tasking processes and interfacing with external
organizational functions (e.g., training, manpower)
•
Demonstrated proficiency with enterprise collaboration tools (e.g., SharePoint, shared
drives, Outlook calendars, distribution lists)
